The goal of product validation, whether remote or in person, is to make sure that your product is solving the right problem in the most effective way.
When you start to build your own company and launching a product, there is a thing that would help you to overcome that fear of “Is my product good?”. There is demand everywhere with almost all new startups, but the main factor to actually know you are in the right way is by having a product validation. A lack of validation is the reason why startups have those pitfalls and fail.
You must pay attention to those signs ofwherever your product is being accepted or not because that will provide a much higher chance of success in the way. The most “safety” way to start this path is by making your big dream into a tinier specific idea, as well known as “MVP” or a Minimum Viable Product and expose it to the market to verify it in the real world to make sure it has real demand. Next step, is having your target audience well defined, to discover how to do this is by pointing out the problem of what you are solving and check if there is indeed a market that needs of your solution.
The benefits of having your product validation are:
· Saving time & Money
· Brand Awareness
· Test your assumptions.
· Focusing on your operation & selling quality
Basically, paying attention on how your clients and the market is receiving your product is going to determined if you should continue or well stop a bit and reset your ideas to know what is going wrong.
We had a great interview on The Entrepreneurial Hour podcast, where one of the hosts asked about our product validation and what was making us different or well, how we are knowing if we are doing the things right. Below you can hear the answer our Co-founder & COO, Omar Álvarez gave.
