Remote work is on the rise. Instead of commuting to an office each day to work from a designated desk, remote employees can execute their projects and surpass their goals wherever they please.
We have had a lot of challenges over this 2020 but there was one that did make a lifestyle change and that is remote working, it has been a practice that lots of companies like Github, Stripe, Gitlab and others have done these past years and have proven that remote working can make a successful company, especially when it comes to technology related companies, but now on day it just pulled the trigger and forced thousands of other types of business to let their staff work remotely.
But first, what is remote working? Is it just work in your house? Well, the answer is no.
When we talk about remote working we are talking about doing your work in whatever place you considered “outside the office”, for employees, it’s all about having a comfortable place to do their best job.
Now on days the digital life has help make it easier to work outside the office, and this is not just easier to workers but also for companies because of the reduction of cost they can do like:
By having looked at this point and by watching also the benefits of an employee where this one has the liberty of working wherever it wants, in whatever clothes he wants and having earning the money on gas and public transport or wasting on snacks that comes along in the office, but the question is, Is remote working really the best for the future for all types of companies ? or is it something that as long as time passes by it will have some other types of consequences? We certainly do not know the full answer but what we know is that this lifestyle change is not just temporary, it came to stay for a long time.
