Days off and absences

Days off

For any customer requests, formal communication through Simbiosis Chat or email is essential. This ensures clarity and proper documentation.

Please share with the developer the following procedures:

We kindly remind you that any requested days off, in addition to those mentioned above, must be requested 30 days in advance and, if approved, will be without pay.

Procedure:

  1. As a developer: Approach your manager and inform them of your intended days off.
  2. Contact Agency: Request the necessary days off from the agency.
  3. Agency's Role: The agency will communicate with the client regarding the requested days off and inform you of any conditions (such as deliverables prior to your absence).
  4. Maintain Communication: Stay in touch with both the agency and the client to ensure everything is prepared before your days off.
  5. Re-integrate your activities on the agreed date.

Absence due to an emergency or illness:

For Developers: In case of emergency or illness affecting work hours, inform your manager and the agency immediately.

Agency's Role: Notify the customer via email or Simbiosis Chat about the situation. Share the developer's expected return date and propose alternative solutions if needed. Adjust the invoice to deduct hours not worked (details in billing section).

Absence due to technical contingencies.

For Developers: In unexpected situations like power or internet issues, promptly notify your manager and the agency. Take these steps:

  1. Consider an alternative workspace if required.
  2. Make up for missed work hours.
  3. Report any technical issues promptly to the agency and your manager.

Agency's Role: Inform the customer about the situation through email or Simbiosis Chat. Share details about the expected return date and propose alternatives if needed. Adjust the invoice to reflect hours not worked (see billing section).

We appreciate your collaboration in following these procedures for effective communication and seamless workflows. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
